Our relief pool is growing, so we've now got relief job opportunities available in our services across the Dundee area. The great thing about our relief contracts is they give you flexibility. You tell us when you're available and we will try to give you shifts to fit.
Shift Patterns
Our services provide dedicated around-the-clock support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so our shift patterns do involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and/or waking nights.
The Role
As a relief colleague, you will play an important part in our team, ensuring that we still provide the best care and support possible during times of staff training, holidays, and absence.
The main purpose of your role will be to support individuals who have a disability and/or additional support needs with all aspects of their daily living, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and personal care.
With the individuals we support also enjoying various hobbies and interests, you may also find yourself getting involved in arts & crafts, gardening, going to the cinema, meals out, swimming, discos, and going for walks to name a few.
About You
You don't need experience to join our team; we recruit on values and transferable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
All we need you to bring is:

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
Please note: If you have spent more than 12 months outside the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
If you're successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
