We are seeking creative and passionate Art Teachers to join teams at various schools around Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore their artistic talents, develop technical skills, and express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums. This is for February 2025.
Duties as an Art Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons across [KS3/KS4/KS5].
* Teach a range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art.
* Encourage students to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
* Assess and provide feedback on student work, helping them to improve and grow.
* Organise and participate in art exhibitions, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
* Maintain a well-equipped and safe art studio, ensuring resources are effectively used.
Ideal Art Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
* Experience teaching Art at [Secondary/Post-16] level.
* Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques and materials.
* Passion for inspiring creativity in students as an Art Teacher.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
