Location: Kettering
Our client has built a reputation as a growing provider of service and repair services within the medical devices sector.
Situated close to the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire border they are centrally based in the UK and work on projects nationwide. There will be a requirement for travel including occasional overnight stays.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the PM Field Service Engineer will carry out preventative maintenance activities in line with customer contracts and maintenance schedules.

The Role:
* Manage customer contracts
* Plan and carry out preventative maintenance of specialised equipment in line with customer contracts.
* Provide advice and support to internal and external customers.
* Provide regular updates to customers and the Account Manager on all open cases.
* Produce administrative reports of maintenance activities and report to both internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner.
* Support other service engineers with ad-hoc service repairs.
* Deliver and collect loan equipment from customer sites.
* Maintain and develop relationships with customers.
* Report all activities in a timely manner.
* Review and update the Maintenance Schedule.
* Ad hoc tasks as required.
* Actively work towards maintaining and improving the Business Management System whilst adhering to the requirements of ISO9001, ISO27001, and ISO13485.
* Strive to sustain and improve environmental best practices in our core business operations in line with our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.
* Ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a safe working environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar role within medical devices, electronics, or similar sectors
* Experience working within a hospital / clean room environment is desirable
* Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Organised and able to work on initiative and as part of a team.
* Self-starter with a flexible, hands-on nature.
* Full UK driving licence
