We’re on the hunt for a talented Underwriting Administrator to join our growing team in the Professional Fee Protection part of our business. You will be responsible for providing technical underwriting support to insurers and brokers across the business. If you have a proven track record of delivering high quality administrative support in a fast paced environment of this could be the role for you!
What does an Underwriting Administrator here do?
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
1. Assist with client mailing campaigns (letters, marketing, client databases etc).
2. General day to day running of our PFP products.
3. Open and distribute incoming post to relevant teams and action where necessary.
4. Respond to broker queries via telephone and e-mail.
5. Maintaining accurate record keeping on various CRM systems and online portal.
6. Receiving incoming calls and handling client queries.
7. Produce daily updates on service KPI’s within the team and report to the Team Leader.
8. Building strong relationships with our internal stakeholders.
What are we looking for in our next Underwriting Administrator?
This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator, ideally with experience from an insurance market and has knowledge of insurance products and services. You will be computer literate and have experience of using both Microsoft Word and Excel. We are looking for someone who:
9. Has the ability to prioritise your workload from your own initiative.
10. Is a highly effective communicator.
11. Has strong attention to detail.
