The role:
The Product Development Manager is responsible for the development and enhancement of FIDO’s Smart Water propositions to our global market. The role focuses on driving sustainable growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation through our innovative FIDO Locate product solution. The incumbent will collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure strong market positioning and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the go-to-market strategy for FIDO’s propositions to meet customer needs and market trends.
* Drive customer-led solutions, ensuring a strong value proposition and competitive product offerings.
* Build a role as a core part of the commercial team delivering customer acquisition and user retention through effective product positioning.
* Maintain effective collaboration across the FIDO business to maximize opportunities and boost retention.
* Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and undertake gap analysis to identify business opportunities.
* Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in alignment with the wider FIDO strategy.
* Ensure continuous product support and sales enablement tools for frontline teams.
* Define and improve proposition features and related processes to optimize customer experience.
Experience:
* Commercial Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial role, with experience of driving revenue growth, preferably within a DaaS/SaaS technology company.
* Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic execution skills.
* Technical Acumen: Understanding of DaaS/SaaS business models and demonstrable evidence of building a successful proposition.
* Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Water industry knowledge beneficial.
