We are looking for a chef with a background in catering for professional sports teams to join our team.
You will support our Head Chef and Sous Chefs in providing balanced, nutritional and high-quality meals to our players at the training ground.
A good basis of nutrition helps our players to achieve their individual nutritional goals, ultimately enhancing health, recovery, and performance. To lead the kitchen team in preparing and providing meals to our youth and women teams.
Work with the Head Chef and independently to create and develop exciting seasonal menus.
Prepare meals for youth and women teams working within the nutritional guidelines and ensure junior team members are working correctly to achieve this with you.
Instruct junior team members accordingly to ensure youth and women teams' meals are delivered on time and presented to a high standard.
Support and lead junior members of the kitchen team.
Check stock requirements and order accordingly in the Head/Sous chef's absence.
Travel with teams in the UK and abroad when required as the catering team representative and provide food provisions as requested.
Assist in the preparation of all travel food requirements whilst displaying good organisational skills.
Support Head/Sous chefs to deliver consistently high-quality food in a timely manner.
Cover Sous chefs' role as and when required, working closely with the Supervisor to ensure the highest level of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Flexible to work around the team's schedules.
