The Role:\n\nWe’re currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our client—an established and forward-thinking motor trade business based in Southampton. Renowned for their attention to detail and high-quality finishes, this business provides a stable working environment with great earning potential, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team where your expertise will be valued and rewarded, working with the latest paint technology and equipment in a modern bodyshop setting.\n\nKey Responsibilities of a Paint Sprayer:\n\nPrepare vehicles for painting, including masking and priming surfaces as required.\n\nMix and apply paints using manual and automated techniques to achieve flawless finishes.\n\nCarry out full resprays, panel repairs, and touch-ups to a high standard.\n\nWork closely with the prep and bodyshop teams to ensure seamless job completion.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.\n\nFollow health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications at all times.\n\nAttend training to stay up to date with the latest paint systems and procedures.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nProven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop or accident repair centre.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality finishes consistently.\n\nExperience working with water-based and solvent-based paints.\n\nFull UK Driving Licence is essential.\n\nA proactive attitude and team player mentality.\n\nThe Package:\n\nSalary: £40,000 Basic Salary, OTE £45,000+\n\nHours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm\n\nIf you believe you have the skill, drive, and experience to thrive as a Paint Sprayer, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nDon’t worry if your CV is out of date, please get in touch and we can work with you to do the rest.\n\nTo apply for the role as a Paint Sprayer and find out more details, please forward your CV to Drew Pilcher
