The Operations Controller is responsible for controlling the day-to-day operational transactions, ensuring that clients are billed appropriately for services carried out, and for producing and sharing relevant operational and financial data both internally and externally. What does a day in the life of a Operations Controller look like: Liaison in between Operations and Finance. Operations representative for Client queries regarding fees billing or case detail. Audit staff entry of reserves and cost lines to ensure timely documentation and financial accuracy. Oversees proforma invoicing and prefunding by clients. Responsible for validating case fees ensuring all activities performed by IMG are appropriately compensated for. Oversees all operational reporting (internal and external). Provide practical and technical support to the team. Reconciliation and oversight of credit card payments. Review large losses, ensure proper documentation, work with Finance to secure funding. Approve payments to providers. Liaison in between the organisation and providers regarding payments for services rendered to IMG customers. Oversee and support the financial aspects of recoveries. Review and monitor operational performance continually against agreed KPIs and SLAs. Escalate any unresolved departmental queries. Ensure close co-operation and efficient communication within the department and across the business. Represent the client and the company in a professional manner at all times. To manage escalations from any of the teams in the department. Responsible for managing own workload and any outstanding actions. Adhere to all internal processes and procedures at all times. Pro-actively communicating with all parties providing relevant information to: Our clients. Customers. Any other teams / departments in-house that may be affected. What We`re Looking for: Strong management of financials. Ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics. Ability to inspire, on both an individual and team level, to ensure the continued enhancement of the team and its success. PC skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages, with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent numerical skills. The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. The ability to follow processes and efficiently collect data in a friendly and professional manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as all correspondence is remote, and a large number of our insured are not English mother-tongue. The ability to use those communications skills to train individuals, or teams internally. A calm, diplomatic, open and professional approach, with the ability to handle enquiries from all parties, VIPs, insured personnel and underwriters alike. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
