We are recruiting an individual to work closely with those who have challenging behaviours and social/emotional difficulties.
This role will be challenging but highly rewarding seeing the difference you are making to these young people’s lives.

3. Leading sports and activity sessions

6. Have an understanding/interest in sports

8. Deal with any challenging or disruptive behaviour
9. Offer advice and support
10. Develop self-confidence, positive self-image and independence
11. Fully compliant in safeguarding policies and procedures
The environment of this SEMH School is unlike that of a mainstream school as it is much more nurturing, pastoral, student focused and personal, giving you the chance to really have an impact and create a relationship with the students.
Requirements for this role include:
12. Experience working with children in any professional setting
13. Experience working in care or with vulnerable people if you don’t have the above
14. Sports background
15. A strong personality
16. A DBS on the update service is preferred but not a necessity
17. Ability to attain a reference from working with children or care
