This is a key role, serving as part of a Center of Excellence for Oracle EPM and supporting the strategic objectives of the global finance organization of the KION Group. The individual will support Oracle EPM (Hyperion Planning) implementations and enhancement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. They will oversee the administration and optimization of Oracle EPM processes, assist with business and financial analysis, and contribute to the development of standardized processes and reporting across the global finance organization. Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Oracle EPM implementations and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives through effective stakeholder engagement and documentation of business requirements.
* Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement while supporting the month-end close process and planning cycles for controlling and finance teams.
* Oversee the administration of Financial Planning and Reporting processes within Oracle EPM, including Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Resolve complex user support tickets and queries, providing insights and guidance to end users on Oracle EPM.
* Fulfill complex ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests, partnering with business users to deliver actionable insights.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of best-in-class processes, training programs, and support models for FP&A and Controlling teams across KION.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize global finance processes and reporting, developing robust KPIs to enhance decision-making and organizational performance.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
* A minimum of 8 years of financial analysis, planning, and systems experience.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of delivering impactful results in a global organization.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management tools such as MS Projects is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively across the organization.
* Expertise in defining, documenting, and implementing processes, policies, and procedures.
* Proven ability to manage priorities under strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and controllership functions, with a strong foundation in auditing and financial systems.
* Experience working with Oracle EPM, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
* PMP certification or demonstrated project management experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on delivering clear and actionable information to diverse audiences.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
