Role: Change Lead
Location: Chorley Council and South Ribble Borough Council
Contract: Full time (36.25 hours per week) / Permanent
Salary: £38,626- £42,708 plus 6% car allowance
Closing Date: 22 April 2025
This is an exciting opportunity to become a Change Lead within a newly established team. With the support of the Senior Change Lead, you will lead on a number of exciting transformation projects and change initiatives to deliver improvements to Chorley and South Ribble Councils. This is a career graded post, offering the opportunity to develop within the role.
What you’ll be getting up to
* Managing organisational change projects through the full project lifecycle: from stakeholder engagement, writing business cases to embedding change and delivering projects
* Ensuring good project governance and management is maintained using project management methodology
* Working with multi-disciplinary teams both internal and external in the delivery of projects
* Being a champion for change and advising senior managers and leaders on effective change management
Who we’re looking for
* An experienced project or change manager who has experience of delivering complex projects and initiatives involving change
* An individual who enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders in order to deliver benefits and improvements
* An excellent communicator, who can communicate effectively at all levels across the council, including undertaking consultation and engagement exercises with internal and external customers
* Someone with a learning mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to learn from others.
* Someone who works well in a team as well as confident and able to use their own initiative to drive forward projects.
Other requirements
* This role requires some travel around our boroughs. You should have a valid driving licence or the equivalent mobility.
