Substation Fitter - Instructor Role
Location: Manchester (Trafford Park)
Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 + Pension + Provided lunches + Training + Progression + Holiday

Main Duties
1. Carry out training on electricity distribution and transmission systems.
2. Assess learners' competency in work activity against a national qualification standard.
3. Main subject area will include Fitting Modules, support delivery of technical certificate in power engineering, and deliver compliance training related to distribution work activities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will either be someone who is already delivering training or assessing in substation fitting or a substation fitter who is looking to move away from the tools into a trainer role. Role Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 - 4:15
Position: Trainer (Full training will be provided)
Training Focus: All aspects regarding substation fitting.
Minimum Requirements
1. Experience in the electricity distribution/transmission or commercial sector.
2. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the electricity distribution/transmission or commercial sector.
3. Experience in a substation fitting or substation trainer role.
4. Strong fitting or jointing background.
