Job Description
This role can be based at any of the following sites: Culham, Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy. As Service Support Officer, you will be arranging Monthly Supplier Review Meetings and producing the minutes for these meetings, as well as bi-weekly Operations Meetings. You will ensure an annual program of Supplier review meetings and bi-weekly operational review meetings is in place before the start of each calendar year and that off-site contract staff are aware of the arrangements.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day administration of the Cleaning Services contract.
* Keeping Culham Campus Lost Property records and dealing with unclaimed lost property in the most sustainable way.
* One-off small project(s) which may arise in relation to Cleaning requirements to improve or add value to the Cleaning Contract, with budget value depending on the project and advised by LM.
* Other administration duties to support B&EM Soft Services as required.
Qualifications
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and interact with a wide range of personnel both internal and external.
* Good organization skills to ensure that workload is appropriately prioritized, and tasks completed on time.
* An acute attention to detail for checking paperwork and figures supplied by UKAEA's Cleaning Supplier.
* Ability to problem solve simple problems, seeking guidance from the Service Support Manager/Service Support Advisors as required.
