The Sr. People Relations Partner is a seasoned HR professional representing the EMEA region on a global team of geographically dispersed colleagues responsible for managing complex people/employee relations functions across 10+ countries. This regional role ensures compliance with global labor laws, leads workplace investigations, collaborates on global policies and regional handbooks, and oversees end-to-end processes such as workforce actions, accommodations, and separations across the region, to ensure scalable and compliant operations. By balancing organizational objectives with employee needs, the role directly impacts workplace culture, legal compliance, and risk mitigation. With a focus on strategic planning, global collaboration, and scalable solutions, the position drives fairness, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
Role Responsibilities
* Plan, conduct, and oversee workplace investigations across 10+ countries, ensuring compliance with local laws, company policies, and best practices within one or more regions (to include managing a case load).
* Analyze findings, draft investigation reports, and recommend corrective actions or resolutions.
* Partner with HR Operations, functional HR leadership, employment law, the business integrity office, legal, and business leaders to address complex and high-risk cases.
* Maintain global systems for tracking, auditing, people/employee relations cases, policies, and investigations, background check, workplace accommodations, alternative workplace arrangement processes for global compliance, as well as proactively drive process improvements in tools and systems.
* Collaborate with leadership to align people/employee relations strategies with regional and global business objectives.
* Advise functional HR and business leaders on workforce actions, including restructuring, layoffs, and employee transitions regionally and globally.
* Lead initiatives and global projects, including business process mapping, auditing, and ongoing process improvement for workplace accommodations, background check governance, etc. for end-to-end processes in compliance with legal and company standards.
Role Requirements
* 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years specializing in employee relations or a related field.
* Proven track record of managing complex employee relations issues, including investigations, workforce actions, and global compliance.
* Experience working in a multi-country, multicultural environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or Employment Law or a related field is preferred.
* Relevant certifications or specialized regional/global credentials in workplace investigations (e.g., AWI-CH or CFI) are advantageous.
* Advanced expertise in case management systems (e.g., Navex, i-Sight, ServiceNow, HR Acuity) or similar tools for tracking, auditing, and reporting employee relations cases.
* Advanced knowledge of global labor laws and regulations, including accommodations, separations, and compliance frameworks.
