Our returning clients are looking for an Assistant House Manager to help with the running of a beautiful property in Mayfair.When the family is in residence in the UK (less than half the year), you will liaise with the housekeeping, kitchen, and butler teams, acting as the point of contact for all comings and goings, planning ahead for events and guest arrivals, and working closely with other key management staff across the wider estate.When the family is overseas, the role will focus on maintenance, administrative tasks, and overseeing minor repairs and renovations. Working hours are 8-9 hours per day during this period, as the property is unoccupied for much of the year.Some weekend work is required when the principal is in residence, typically only 2-3 weekends per month. During this period, some longer hours may be required during the week. Additionally, there will be occasional travel for 2-3 weeks, twice a year to support the family's overseas residences.This is a lovely role for someone proactive and energetic who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a position that offers variety and room for growth.Duties/Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Manager Supervising service and housekeeping teams day to day Attending to the needs and preferences of family members and guests, providing exceptional service at all times Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and repair services to maintain the property to the highest standards Organising and managing small events and dinner parties hosted by the family Handling occasional personal shopping and household errands as required Overseeing renovations of the property and ensuring all aspects of the residence are well-maintained Occasional travel to overseas properties when required (2-3 weeks, 2 times a year) Requirements: Candidates with previous experience in yacht management or luxury hospitality settings are highly desired Willingness to be hands-on and assist with various household tasks as needed Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with excellent organisational skills and a proactive mindset Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK Driver preferred Days/Hours: 8-9 hours per day when the family is away Longer hours required when the family is in residence, including working 2-3 weekends per month 40-45 hours per week, 5 days per week on average Additional Details: Accommodation: Live-out Salary: £55,000 gross per annum Start date: March 2025 job reference: SB1821
