This role offers the chance to participate in multi-disciplinary projects at various stages of the lifecycle, from client consultancy to comprehensive turn-key solutions. You will have the vision, passion and track record required to continue the growth of our mechanical engineering offering, being involved in business development, as well as an engineering design role. You will lead the continued development of a strong team to whom you will provide leadership and robust management. In this high-profile role, you will be the first point of direct contact with clients, partners, and contractors. You will over-see key projects from concept to delivery including design, procurement, subcontract, factory acceptance, installation, site acceptance and commissioning. This role is ideal for an experienced Nuclear Mechanical Engineer, offering you the chance to work on a variety of the highest profile, short and long-term projects within the sector, and being involved and overseeing the full project cycle end-to-end. Here’s what you’ll do: Leadership and Management: Lead the continued development of a strong team, providing leadership and robust management. Serve as the first point of direct contact with clients, partners, and contractors. Project Oversight: Oversee key projects from concept to delivery, including design, procurement, subcontract, factory acceptance, installation, site acceptance, and commissioning. Engineering Design: Participate in and guide engineering design tasks, ensuring high-quality and technically sound solutions. Business Development: Drive business development within a crucial segment of the engineering department, serving as a key holder of resources and expertise. Technical Excellence: Prepare and deliver technical presentations, conduct peer reviews of technical documents, and provide strategic advice using project and portfolio insights to guide and shape projects and programs.
