The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Envitia, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems and infrastructure. You'll manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor production environments, and collaborate with development teams to streamline application releases.
Leveraging your expertise in modern IaaS operational tools, you’ll help shape cloud-ready infrastructure while maintaining security and compliance standards across the deployment lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
1. Automate cloud deployments using best-in-class IaaS tools.
2. Lead operational and infrastructure aspects of DevOps.
3. Develop and maintain detailed system design and configuration documentation.
4. Create operating procedures and knowledge articles to improve efficiency.
5. Drive continuous service improvement and contribute to ongoing designs.
Skills Required
1. Expertise in operations automation tooling, infrastructure deployment, and service monitoring.
2. Proficiency in Ansible, Kubernetes, and configuration management.
3. Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
4. Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
5. Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud technologies (Linux and Windows OS).
6. Air-gapped cluster deployment experience.
Desirable Skills
1. Experience with Terraform, ADO DevOps, or RKE2 (secure Kubernetes).
2. Familiarity with Rancher, Packer, FluentD, and logging tools.
3. Strong knowledge of security best practices, including system and OS-level security hardening (e.g., CISCAT benchmarking).
Security Clearance Requirements
The successful candidate must be eligible to go through a SC level security clearance.
Location
The role will be required onsite in our Horsham offices 2 days a month and travel to client sites when required.
