About the role...
To support our ongoing growth and the evolution of our business needs, we are now looking for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to come and join our People Team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This role reports to one of our Senior HR Business Partners and will be supporting our new CP Digital team, our Finance team, as well as driving the set-up in overseas countries.
About the team…
Our People Team is at the core of what CP is and helps to make us a people first business. They support us in our ongoing goals to retain an incredible culture whilst we grow as a business, providing insights to our people engagement and supporting our leadership teams in reaching their goals through their people plans.
About the day to day…
As a People Business Partner, you’re the cornerstone, the gatekeeper, and the ear to the ground, collecting and sharing insights which will improve colleague and business performance.
You’ll need to roll your sleeves up to deep dive into your respective business area to learn all about what makes them tick, sitting as part of your stakeholder’s senior leadership team where you’ll proactively lead on all things people related and work in partnership with your Heads of Department to build the people strategic plan.
High challenge and high support are what this role is all about. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
* Delivering professional HR advice and support aligned to the business plan and HR strategy
* Play a crucial role in ensuring that performance management, development, succession, and hiring are aligned to a Gallup Strengths based approach
* Drive and identify opportunities to increase employee engagement
* Working with the senior leadership teams to develop behaviours and drive appropriate change to transform and improve organisational effectiveness across the business
* Work in close partnership with your Head of Department, influencing and challenging people decisions and bringing balance and conscience to decision making
* Brilliantly execute our people processes throughout the employee lifecycle and look for opportunities to improve them as we scale and grow
* Lead key business projects such as acquisitions, integrations and/or organisational change work with a focus on cultural alignment
* As part of the integration in CP Digital, work with the leaders to set up and establish ways of working in the new entity and how it aligns to the wider CP
* Support and develop the People Advisors
* Work with overseas partners/employers of record in South Africa & Philippines
* Drive the set up in overseas countries – South Africa & Philippines, understanding and recommending an approach aligned with the CP wider business
About you...

You’ll continuously strive to keep learning – whether you’re a trainee or a Partner – and you’ll be brave, stepping out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges. Above all, be nice. A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP.
In addition to our core values, as a HR Business Partner, you’ll challenge the status quo and continuously strive for improvement in our processes and working practices, whilst keeping commerciality in mind.
You’ll be adaptable and able to pivot quickly as the business continues to grow and evolve. You will be:
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
* Experienced as a generalist/HRBP
* Demonstrable experience working in a strategic capacity supporting a service line/function/department
* Able to build positive and effective relationships
* Ideally experienced in professional services/accounting industry
