About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our Social Housing clients for an experienced Contract Manager - Environmental Services to lead the delivery of high-quality environmental services. This role involves overseeing the Environmental Services Team, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and driving continuous service improvement to maintain high standards in communal properties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Environmental Services Team to meet targets and service delivery standards.
2. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and manage risk remediation tasks.
3. Monitor budgetary performance, providing financial updates and forecasts.
4. Develop and coach team members to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
5. Address customer complaints, ensuring quick resolution and implementing service improvements.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Experience in managing environmental and facilities management contracts.
2. Proven ability to manage budgets and lead operational teams.
3. Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
4. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
5. Experience in the social housing sector is desirable.
Qualifications:
1. HND/HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
2. IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safety qualification.
3. Membership of relevant professional bodies.
