An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Member Services Data Administrator to join a leading professional membership organisation. This is a full-time, permanent role within the Member Services team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of membership data processes and providing high-quality service to members.
Key responsibilities of the role:
1. Support the Member Data and Insights Manager with monthly statistics and reporting
2. Identify opportunities for regular data cleansing, including validating payment details, postal records, and email addresses
3. Ensure all membership fees are paid, recorded, and processed, including handling Direct Debit and card payments
4. Manage the failed payment process, ensuring minimal disruption to income and member status
5. Reconcile subscription payments in collaboration with the Data Manager
6. Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and integrity
7. Support membership renewals, ensuring accurate data entry and validation
8. Process applications for various membership grades, providing guidance to applicants
9. Handle member enquiries via email, telephone, and post, delivering a high standard of customer service
10. Develop and maintain standardised responses for frequently asked questions
11. Assist in the production and validation of membership certificates
12. Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations in all processes
Ideal candidate profile:
1. Proven administrative experience, particularly in data management and customer service
2. Experience using and maintaining databases, with knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce desirable)
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
6. Ability to handle high volumes of enquiries while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
7. Understanding of GDPR and data protection best practices
8. A proactive and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently when required
Location: Euston, Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
Rate: £17-19 per hour
Working hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 3-month temporary with scope to move permanent
