Searchlight Cyber provides organisations with relevant and actionable dark web threat intelligence, to help them identify and prevent criminal activity.
Founded in 2017 with a mission to stop criminals acting with impunity on the dark web, we have been involved in some of the world’s largest dark web investigations and have the most comprehensive dataset based on proprietary techniques and ground-breaking academic research.
Today we help government and law enforcement, enterprises, and managed security services providers around the world to illuminate deep and dark web threats and prevent attacks.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Searchlight is dedicated to providing world-class and useful tools to our customers. The customer success team is responsible for ensuring that customers and prospects get the best experience and results from using our tools. You will be at the forefront of this mission representing the company and helping customers achieve their goals and providing feedback to the organization on how to refine and improve our products and customer experience.
As a Product Technical Specialist, you will be a source of authority on the data contained within, and how best to use Searchlight’s products to achieve customer goals. You will be involved throughout the customer journey.
1. Pre-Sales: You will be expected from time to time to support the Sales team.
2. Customer onboarding: You will be expected to ensure that customers are onboarded and able to use the tools to fulfill their requirements.
3. Training: Searchlight provides training for onboarding, general awareness and specialist skills. You will be expected to run training sessions both online and onsite.
4. On-going support: During the life of a contract, Searchlight regularly checks in with and supports customers. You will need to gather customer requirements, help resolve issues and drive value from the products.
5. Off-boarding: At the end of the contract, you will need to make sure that everything is closed out and that Searchlight has fulfilled its obligations and leaving the customer with a positive experience.
When not supporting customers, you will be required to work with the Threat Intelligence and Product Teams to provide user feedback on data sources and the products and help add value to the products from a customer and user perspective.
This will be a UK-based role, primarily supporting our EMEA team; however, you may support activity in the US or APAC regions from time to time also.
There may be some travel required from time to time and customer site visits.
You will report to the CEO.
WHAT WILL I DO?
1. Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products, enabling you to best demonstrate these to our customers.
2. Provide training and support material for Sales, Customers, and the wider business.
3. Work with our product and marketing teams to drive new feature development and support customer queries and requests.
4. Provide analyst support where needed, adding value to the wider business.
5. Provide on-site training and support as well as virtual.
6. Work closely with sales and marketing to handle the technical elements of the sales process.
7. Support our customers with hands-on, day-to-day support. You can expect to conduct regular cadence calls, communicate new features and best practices, and provide technical support; ultimately ensuring our customers see success.
8. Attend conferences, events, and trade shows in support of marketing and sales.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
1. A background in being a cyber threat intelligence operator in a commercial or government setting.
2. Strong communication skills and an empathy for customers.
3. Proficiency with European languages is desired - French, German, or Spanish.
4. Driven self-starter that can work as part of a team.
5. Experience in a technical or engineering role, ideally in Cyber Security or intelligence. A background in law enforcement or military intelligence would be advantageous.
6. Experience supporting public sector customers, in-depth knowledge of their needs and use cases, buying processes, and relevant industry knowledge.
7. Excellent customer-facing skills, confident in negotiation, demonstration, and customer support with stakeholders of all levels.
8. Passion and knowledge for the cyber security market, covering areas such as the Darkweb, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response.
