Key Duties • Work with the Head of Operations, Head of Nursing and line managers to identify and support quality improvements in Imaging and Outpatients • Build close working relationships with governance team, other quality heads/ managers, FTSUG • Co-ordinate audits and ensuring actions plans are in place to drive improvements • Collate and analyse data as required, to prepare reports and presentations for various quality and governance meeting across The London Clinic • Co-ordinate and chair Governance and Risk Forum in Imaging and Outpatients • Review policies, procedures and standard operating procedures • Maintain the document management system (iPassport) and provide access to new starters • Review and update incidents in Datix and close down patient safety actions • Promote Patient Safety Incident Response Framework policy and plan • Create a culture of patient safety first within the departments. • Encourage staff to raise concerns about safety to allow improvements to be put in place • Undertake local level patient safety investigation with support from the line managers and Head of Operations • Review and update risks assessments • Investigate patient complaints with the line managers Skills & Experience • Registered Healthcare Professional • Evidence of CPD activities commensurate with the post roles and responsibilities • Specialist experience in clinical risk management • Able to make decisions independently. • IT competence in the usual applications – database, spread sheet and presentation software etc. • Extensive experience in audit • Uses Microsoft Office tools to support clinical and managerial needs • Experience in dealing with clinical problems • Experienced in the training of other clinical staff • Practical experience of a wide range of Imaging Services equipment • Experienced in effective management and organization • Broad, fundamental knowledge of Imaging Services • Understanding of the Imaging Services regulatory environment e.g. IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17 • Understanding of Imaging Services professional development and maintenance of professional acumen • In depth knowledge of Imaging Services side effects and associated treatments
