Rural Practice Surveyor - Innovative Property Consultancy

Contract Type: Permanent
Our client, a leading property and business consultancy serving Northern England and Southern Scotland, is seeking an experienced MRICS Rural Practice Surveyor to join their collaborative team of 80+ professionals across six regional offices.
Position Overview
As a Rural Practice Surveyor, you will provide expert advice and innovative solutions to a diverse range of clients across the rural, residential, commercial and development sectors, contributing to the consultancy's continued success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Engage clients and provide sound, reasoned advice
* Network effectively to generate new business opportunities
* Manage and mentor team members for growth
* Assess and restructure farm businesses for optimal results
* Produce accurate valuations and comprehensive reports
* Represent clients in property sales and acquisitions
* Oversee management of diverse property portfolios
* Handle compensation and compulsory purchase for landowners
* Conduct landlord and tenant work, including lettings and reviews
Requirements
* MRICS accreditation with strong agricultural knowledge
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
* Full clean driving licence for regional travel
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Thorough understanding of compliance and procedures
* Passion for farming and rural business
