Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 Depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working as part of an Integrated Development Team, focused on developing and delivering next-generation submarine systems
*
Leading Product Safety activities across multiple systems throughout the engineering lifecycle
*
Supporting hazard identification and analysis studies to mitigate risks
*
Assisting with or generating detailed safety reports
*
Ensuring adherence to the project Safety Management System
*
Collaborating with other development teams and the Safety Team to maintain the highest safety standards
What We're Looking For:
*
Degree (2:2 or above) in Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's)
*
Understanding of Safety and Systems Engineering and Engineering Lifecycle Management
*
Experience working collaboratively in a team, while also being capable of working independently
*
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and customer expectations
*
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
*
Practical experience in Product Safety Engineering within the maritime defence sector is preferred, but experience in other industries will also be considered
