We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Analyst to join our team based in Solihull. For this role, you will provide timely and accurate new business and renewals contract assessments for all renewables customers. This is to deliver accurate contract management and protect delivery of anticipated net margin. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive contract renewal and residual periods through the provision of key contract data in advance of customer contact and pricing.
2. Ensure residual/renewal customer pipelines are understood and that procedural adherence to T&Cs is maintained.
3. Ensure accurate management of costs and volume to protect the delivery of anticipated margin.
4. Making recommendations for change in order to provide continuity during the end-to-end contract management life cycle.
5. Support commercial, risk, and sales departments through query management and process support.
6. Development of new contract management processes to enhance business productivity and performance.
7. Day-to-day contract management of tender responses.
8. Ensure contracts are managed in a robust and controlled governance framework.
What We Need From You
1. Good commercial awareness and strong communication skills across all levels.
2. Experience in a commercial/analytical role in the utilities industry.
3. Demonstrable economic, market, and financial analytical capability.
4. Good IT skills, including MS Office suite (especially Excel), VB(A), statistical packages.
5. Results orientated, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and produce clear and concise feedback/reports to senior management.
6. The ability to develop new contract management processes for new products.
