In support of the Amazon Advertising business, the Ad Success Team (AST) is building a group of energetic and highly motivated Ads Performance Managers. As an Ads Performance Manager, you will work with a portfolio of advertiser accounts and be responsible for helping them meet their advertising goals via opportunity identification and account optimization. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to test internal tools, gather, and share insights with the internal product and engineering teams. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to use your analytical skills, help advertisers grow their existing business, and develop new business opportunities. You will carry business goals and will be measured on key metrics aligned to the sales and account management team goals. You will need to be technically savvy with an interest in online advertising, good at data, well organized, able to multitask, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be self-motivated to get on phone calls with advertisers to explain optimization recommendations and paths to resolution. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong commitment to the success of our advertising customers and a proven track record of exceeding goals.
Core Responsibilities
1. Taking ownership of a portfolio of accounts – Standard and High Value advertisers
2. Leading calls with advertisers and driving discussions using a preset agenda, as necessary
3. Analyzing account performance against key metrics to identify, recommend, and implement optimization solutions to increase efficiency and meet clients' goals
4. Identifying opportunities to improve Amazon Advertising products based on customer feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competitive products
5. Establishing strong relationships and trust with local and global stakeholders
6. Working with external teams, such as Sales & Marketing and Product teams, to identify and solve issues blocking advertiser performance
Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in a business discipline
2. More than 2 years of work experience in sales/marketing
3. Experience managing clients and owning their individual performance goals
4. English verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by experience
5. Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
6. Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Digital Advertising or other related disciplines
2. Experience in e-commerce or retail industry
3. Passion for online advertising and a proven track record of delivering outstanding results
4. Experience in interpreting data and making business recommendations
5. Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
6. Experience in data analysis, either through professional experience or education
