Overview
The Financial Administrator/Paraplanner plays a crucial role in a wealth management business supporting the overall delivery of the advice process from both a technical and practical aspect. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Being part of small team, the successful candidate will have an important role to play and will be flexible and openminded in their approach to working as part of a successful team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of financial services, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and have proficiency in the necessary associated IT tools including Intelliflo, Timeline and have a good working knowledge of Apple systems.
Core Role
* Prepare the drafting of suitability letters for the advisers.
* Ensure the back-office data is accurate and up to date and all necessary client service reminders in place and adhered to.
* Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Communicate with clients and internal teams to address inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
* Organise and schedule meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared in advance of such meetings.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
* Support administrative tasks related to finance, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organised records.
* Collaborate with other Team members to ensure best practice and exemplary client service.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in financial services or a related field is preferred ideally with a Level 4 qualification or working towards that.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in IT applications such as Intelliflo, Timeline, CRM, Outlook, Excel and Apple.
* Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data accurately.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
* A customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
