Role overview
This role will act as an enabler to develop core skills and future capability through consultancy practices. Collaborate with the wider HR team and business leaders to scope, design and deliver work that develops colleague, leader and team capability to achieve business outcomes.
Support the Director of Inclusion, Colleague and Organisation Development with the development of plans to deliver sustainable, integrated and systemic approaches to skills and capability development.
Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:
1. Providing consultancy to identify, propose and collaborate on strategies which drive organisational capabilities, including leadership, culture, capability, efficiency and productivity across Hastings Direct.
2. Developing strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders across HR, business areas and external partners at all levels to ensure effective delivery of learning and capability outcomes.
3. Leading skills and capability programme development, implementation, ongoing delivery and engagement with stakeholders. Managing business engagement, expectations and deliverables.
4. Evaluation of how initiatives are ‘landing’ i.e. the experience of colleagues impacted and progress against agreed outcomes and measures of success. Feeding outcomes from evaluation exercises into continuous improvement activity and measures of success.
5. Embedding our 4Cs framework and transformational leadership principles across all solutions to help embed the right culture and behaviours.
6. Supporting with the delivery of HR cyclical activities including talent, succession, and performance.
Essential skills we would love you to have:
1. Strong consultancy skills that demonstrate knowledge and practical experience of utilising a range of approaches including; contracting, scoping, diagnosis, delivery, intervention and evaluation skills and techniques.
2. Previous experience of building capability, enabling systematic development.
3. Learning/development experience with strengths in coaching, leadership and behavioural skills development.
4. Collaborating with others in fast-paced transformative environments with the ability to facilitate both in person and virtual ‘workshops’ to diverse audiences, regardless of level, size or experience.
5. Experience working in a matrixed organisation; with experience of driving cross team collaboration to deliver multi-functional outcomes.
6. Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and influencing skills including challenging at all levels.
