The School: Behaviour Mentor - Mental Health - Trauma - Education and Training - Dorking
The school is based in Dorking and provides support for children aged 9-16 years who have a range of learning and behavioural needs due to social, emotional and mental health challenges. All students that attend the school have a designated Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) which details their specific needs in terms of the care and support they will have access to. The school provides a safe learning environment for children who suffer with high levels of anxiety which can result in a lack of focus and challenging behaviour.
What is involved: Behaviour Mentor - Education and Training - Dorking
1. Providing assistance and supervision for children's behaviour during the school day and supporting their learning and participation in class
2. Working 1-1 with students to help them learn ways of managing and controlling their own behaviours
