Audio Visual (AV) Project Engineer Key tasks and Responsibility Demonstrable knowledge of the installation and commissioning of audio-visual and UC systems across a range of technologies including but not limited to projectors, TVs, touchscreens, sound systems and amplifiers, communal presentation and meeting systems and software, and meeting room integration to control the meeting room environment. Demonstrable knowledge of current and prevalent standards and licensing requirements that govern works within the Audio-Visual space. Compilation of a range of post-installation documentation Interpreting and understanding proposal documents, schematics, and drawings. Accurate and timely completion of all work-related documentation including but not limited to test results, commissioning information, drawings. Translate pre-sales requirements from booked projects into functional system designs. Functional system descriptions Block diagrams Test Plans Develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) Carry out site surveys to fully understand the scope of the project and potential limitations in advance of the installation. Review pre-construction design and documentation. Working at the highest standard to design drawings, schematics, and proposals for AV installations. Accurate and timely completion of all internal documentation as required. Always maintain adherence to health and safety standards. Support the Project Manager as SME- in the day-to-day running of larger projects. ·Support the installation, commissioning, programming Teams as required. Always ensure the highest quality of work. Skills and Qualifications Proficient IT skills: Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Proficient in using MS Visio Excellent attention to detail and record keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge and expertise in the design and integration of AV solutions Q-SYS, Extron, BIAMP, Crestron, Logitech, Poly (HP), MTRoW, MTRoA Strong knowledge of construction management and experience working with general contractors, architects, electrical contractors, etc. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines. Proactive approach. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings. Speak fluent English.
