Job overview
The primary responsibility for this post holder is to take a leading role in engagement with patients and heart failure professionals & dissemination of the stem cell research. They will also lead in the running of a portfolio of cellular studies, initiate and manage different projects as well as take a
lead role and. within the department. The post holder will be based within the cardiology research department at the Barts Heart centre. You might be required to cover multiple sites within the trust as well travel to across the network for engagement and educational purposes.
Main duties of the job
You will be an RN with significant post registration experience with a strong critical care or cardiology background. You must demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, be computer literate, flexible and be able to manage your own time effectively. Excellent time management and IT skills are essential to the role. Experience of formal and informal teaching and clinical research will be advantageous.

Essential criteria
1. Degree level qualification
2. NMC registration
3. Evidence of continuous personal and professional development

12. 6 years post registration experience with 2 years in acute settings at band 6.
13. 6 months experience within clinical research
14. Experience of working with heart failure patients.

17. Familiarity with establishing Research Pathways and detailed knowledge of establishing study feasibility
