As an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator (m/f/*), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Coordinating, overseeing, and executing the Trade Compliance program, Inward Processing Relief (IPR) program for KCI Manufacturing Unlimited Company, Ireland and other similar Trade Compliance programs, activities, and responsibilities in EMEA managed by the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower.
2. Leading, optimizing, managing and coordination of the IPR program according to current customs law and regulatory requirements. This includes also common customs audits.
3. Local contact requiring good communication skills both written and oral with internal and external customers including customs authorities.
4. Functional responsibilities include, but not limited to e.g. Broker Management, Export Control, Customs Management, duty management & AEO certification.
5. Reporting to EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower Lead and being part of the Global Trade Compliance team whereby you will support Trade Compliance colleagues in EMEA
6. Reporting dotted line to KCI Trade Compliance Organization for KCI IPR, Ireland.
7. Collaborates with EMEA & Global Trade Compliance colleagues to execute the TC strategy and program to minimize the risk for the cooperation, enhance service and optimizes costs savings.
8. Drive improvement in compliance and business efficiency performance. Define, maintain, and communicate key compliance and efficiency performance indicators (KPIs) as well as SOP's, ICP and training material.
9. Assist EMEA Trade Compliance control tower lead to assess country compliance and capabilities. Identify gaps and propose solutions to address gaps. Highlight and recognize best practices and develop strategies to expand their use.
10. Drive improvement through process optimization and project management.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* For IPR Ireland: In depth experience working in Import-Export Compliance and specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU-countries with a minimum of 2-3 years.
* Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
* In depth Trade Compliance (three years) experience in a private, government or military environment.
* Knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries. Interested to keep learning and growing responsibilities.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Ability to work in large, complex, multination organizations.
* ERP Oracle experience
* SAP GTS experience
* Experience with complex principal business models & supply chains
* Hands on person experienced with processes and communication.
* Good analytical and communication skills.
* Excellent skills in Excel, Business Objects, and other software for data analysis
* Self-organized; able to work quickly and accurately with minimum supervision.
* Able to work under strict deadlines.
