Responsibilities
:
1. Lead the negotiation of LTSA's with the client / owner and Sub-LTSA's with service providers.
2. Prepare and review detailed scopes of work for service providers and equipment suppliers.
3. Ensure that sites are operated in accordance with contractual requirements including achieving capacity and availability guarantees.
4. Manage service providers and equipment suppliers ensuring maintenance requirements are being completed to maintain equipment uptime in accordance with contractual obligations and manufacturers specifications.
5. Recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
6. Review and approve maintenance reports.
7. Determine spare part requirements and track spare part inventory.
8. Analyze performance data determining root cause and performance trends.
9. Review monthly reports from service providers.
10. Assist with preparation of monthly reports to client / owner and present performance metrics and KPI's.
11. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
12. Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
13. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
14. Ensure all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
15. Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
16. Manage contractors and their performance.
17. Reset and manage SCADA systems, including resetting inverters.Assisting with the capacity and balancing testing of batteries.
18. Manage liquidated damages and excludable events.
19. Serve as the primary client-facing representative, attending client meetings and managing queries.
20. Work alongside the field services supervisor and coordinator to ensure technicians are on site and dispatched as needed.
21. Provide out-of-hours support when required.
22. Create and manage monthly operations reports and other management reporting.
23. Chair operational site calls.
24. Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
25. Oversee the management of Preventative, Corrective, and Reactive maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
26. Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) degree or diploma
27. Minimum 5 years' experience in project management in renewable power generation or service environment that includes electrical, controls, and network communication systems.
28. Strong negotiation, facilitation, risk management and consensus building skills.
29. Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications is an asset.
30. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and influence positively a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
31. Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong ownership mentality.
32. Professional-level capabilities with project management tools (., MS 365 and Microsoft Project)
33. Must possess a valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
34. Must be able to travel to domestic locations as needed per project.
35. Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team.
