Job Description
The Job Mission
Join our London team to support the delivery of nuclear power plant operating equipment. You'll be pivotal in ensuring smooth delivery from external suppliers and integrating systems within the plant.
1. Create and amend technical specifications for new equipment using expert inputs.
2. Perform surveillance and approval of contractor deliverables and design activities.
3. Lead technical and project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
4. Resolve technical issues, unresolved queries, and interface challenges, owning their resolution.
5. Manage technical specialists to review deliverables and address issues.
6. Review and approve contract amendments, exemptions, and supporting documents.
7. Liaise with R&D and client teams for seamless equipment integration.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
2. Knowledge of electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, distribution boards and panels, etc.).
3. Proficiency in IT applications (MS Suite, CAD).
4. Experience in leadership, managing teams, budgets, and suppliers.
5. Strong project management skills.
6. Familiarity with commercial contract structures and supplier management.
7. Experience producing technical specifications.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience in the nuclear sector.
2. Experience with contract management.
3. Stakeholder management and collaboration expertise.
