What skills and experience we're looking for
Wrotham Road Primary School are looking for a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join their excellent team on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2025.
This position is 25.42 hours per week, 8.55am - 3pm,Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year. The salary of £23,337 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £13,557.05.
Experience of working with children in an educational setting is required along with:
• good English and Mathematical skills
• relevant qualifications NVQ 2 and 3 in childcare and learning (level 2 only may be acceptable if a willingness to work towards NVQ3 can be demonstrated)
• flexibility and use of initiative
• strong communication skills
• the ability to work alongside as part of a team
• patience and understanding of the ways different children learn
• a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
