Join our Local Pick Up and Delivery Team in an exciting full-time permanent opportunity. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused MR Driver to join our team in our Ayr depot. What You Will Be Doing:
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00 am start
Responsibilities:
Transport general freight to support our Ayr Branch and surrounding community with excellent customer service:
1. Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
2. Complete necessary paperwork, including pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks
3. Utilise IT platforms such as PDAs to scan freight and capture live signatures
4. Perform manual handling tasks, including opening/closing gates and pulling curtains
5. Follow established standards, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure smooth and accurate deliveries
6. Work within a steady, methodical pace to maintain accuracy and high-quality work output

What You Need:
* Hold a current MR Licence
* Hold a current Forklift Licence
* Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous, but not mandatory
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, and a criminal history check if required
* A professional mindset with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to meeting goals
* Ability to work consistently with a focus on producing high-quality, detailed work based on established guidelines, standards, and procedures
* Comfortable in a stable environment, working with repetitive routines and well-defined processes
* Ability to collaborate with peers and management to ensure efficient, error-free work
