Eaton Syalon are working in partnership with an incredibly exciting, high growth manufacturing business to hire a Finance Analyst into their team. As a Finance Analyst in our clients business, reporting to the Finance controller, you’ll play a key role in understanding and optimising performance across two sites. You will work closely with site leads to analyse and present financial and production data, delivering valuable insights to support decision-making at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse weekly and monthly production data, including labour, time, design, lead time, and profitability. Manipulate large data sets to uncover trends and insights. Collaboration: Build strong, proactive relationships with operational leads to understand site performance and identify improvement opportunities. Financial Insights: Develop and present clear, actionable reports to the FD, MD, and the Board. Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to existing processes, systems, and cost structures. Tools & Systems: Leverage Excel and Power BI to create dynamic dashboards and visuals We are keen to explore this opportunity if you are part or fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA with strong relevant experience in a similar role. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and costing will be important along with the ability to translate operational data into financial insights. Technically you will have well developed Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar tools would be ideal (although not essential). This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operations, getting under the skin of manufacturing processes and with a desire to truly add value and challenge the status quo.
