We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for an Electrical Installation Lecturer to become a key member of our Construction and Building Services department. As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through: Preparing, delivering and assessing subject specialisms on a range of courses, specifically focusing on Electrical Installation to Level 3 Undertaking course administration as necessary. Leading and contributing to curriculum developments within the Programme Area/Centre. Carrying out course leadership duties where appropriate. Our ideal candidates will have experience of teaching or training, working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds alongside the following qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (2360, 2330, 2365 or equivalent) Minimum Level 3 in Education and Training English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one yearEither recent experience of teaching and assessing on a range of programmes and levels, or recent experience of working in UK Electrotechnical industry Knowledge of the current developments in UK Building Services Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing Ability to consistently support a high quality learning experience for all students Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes.
