Introducing ourselves: Sefton Council, Merseyside. Springbrook Residential Home provides disabled children aged 7 - 17 years with overnight short breaks. You will join a dynamic team of support workers in providing support and encouragement to children whilst they are engaged in homely and social activities, promoting their independence, and supporting them to experience new activities. We are recruiting to 3 permanent Residential Support Worker (RSW) posts. Job requirements: Successful candidates must be flexible, motivated, and committed. You must have a passion for improving the lives of disabled children and their families. Work will include evenings and weekends. Preferably you will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification, however we can offer this qualification as an apprenticeship for the right candidate.
