Role Purpose
The HR Intern is responsible for supporting the HR and recruitment team, in providing confidential, professional advice and support to the Energy Portfolio teams across Singapore, the UAE, Nigeria, London, and Canada, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, HR system management, payroll support, performance management, employee relations, compensation, training and development.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Draft HR related documentation.
* Lead on onboarding and off-boarding process (including inductions, KPI documents and onboarding plans). Keeping Induction decks updated for all regions.
* Be responsible for ensuring employee data in the HRIS System (Workday) is up to date and accurate at all times.
* Support the payroll function for each business sector, liaising with external resources to ensure adjustments are processed according to schedule.
* Assist managers with Vacancy Request Forms (VRF), job descriptions and job postings.
* Source and interview candidates for job vacancies, assisting managers throughout the selection process
* Track probation and long service periods and documentation.
* Identify development needs in conjunction with line managers, source solutions, and organise training by external consultants where appropriate.
* Contribute to the HR department’s ongoing and special projects both globally and within the UK.
* Assist in the development, implementation and communication as well as maintenance of human resources policies and procedures.
* Maintain employee records and ensure that each record contains relevant records.
* Administer global benefit policies and relevant documentation.
* Track sickness absence and share update with HR team.
* Support with processing Purchase Orders for the HR team.
* Support with maintaining the Organisational Charts for the business units.
* Assist the HR BP’s with Annual Performance Reviews.
