Working as part of the Finance & Accounts team, this is a great opportunity for someone with either a recent qualification in Accounts or with a similar accounts background to broaden their knowledge and develop a career in the sector. What’s in it for you £24,000pa (Pro Rata if Part Time) Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch Pension 20 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays Excellent long term career prospects with an opportunity to learn from the ground up Part Time Hours Considered What you’ll be doing Working for this established Law Firm who specialise in Property Conveyancing, as part of a team, you will be involved in all aspects of accounts: The reconciliation of client and company accounts Credit Control Purchase and sales ledger Opening and closing client accounts Liaising with Conveyancers to ensure accuracy Processing incoming and outgoing transactions What you’ll have Must be methodical and logical, with a head for numbers and a high level of attention to detail Posses either a qualification in Accounts or have a relevant background A good level of experience using computers and multiple systems/programmes at the same time Be able to work as part of a team, collaborating towards a common goal Excellent Customer Service skills and be able to maintain high standards of professionalism Ideally a working knowledge of the SRA Accounting Rules, but this is not essential
