Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for an Inventory and Purchasing Administrator.
Key purpose of the role:
Contribute towards the improvement of the supply chain function and in turn ensuring an improvement in customer service levels, and the Optomisation of inventory.
Main duties:
* Checking and approving proforma invoices with suppliers
* Ensuring freight forwarder booking are made on time
* Ensuring all costs are loaded on to the system
* Management of inventory planning
* Working with and supporting suppliers in maximising delivery performance
Skills and experience required:
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
* Computer literate including the use of Excel.
