We are seeking a skilled Contract Stress Engineer to contribute to critical projects, including the analysis and optimization of aircraft components. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in stress analysis while working on cutting-edge aerospace solutions. Key Responsibilities
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys Workbench.
Perform Yield and Ultimate Analysis to ensure component integrity.
Execute Fatigue Analysis and damage calculations for long-term performance assessment.
Analyze Threaded Fasteners for strength and reliability.
Perform Damage Tolerance Analysis using Nasgro.
Update existing reports to account for changes in pressures and duty cycles.What We’re Looking For
Education: Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven expertise in landing gear stress analysis within the aerospace sector.
Skills: Proficiency in FEA software and thorough knowledge of aerospace regulatory standards.
Attributes: Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
