The Fulham Boys School is seeking an excellent Chemistry teacher to join the Science department. The ideal candidate will be someone whose enthusiasm for, and love of, their subject will permeate the whole school community. They will be joining a collaborative department who support each other and help boys achieve their best in Science.
Our Science department has seen huge growth in the last 3 years and the Sciences are increasingly popular subjects within our Sixth Form. We are looking to build on our growing success at GCSE, where two thirds of boys studying separate sciences achieved a grade 7 or above in Chemistry in 2024. The successful applicant will play an integral role in contributing to the increasing success of boys’ outcomes at KS4 & KS5.
The department has many strengths including a strong Head of Science, passionate teachers and access to a wide range of teaching resources. The department strives to prioritise practical skills throughout the curriculum. Lessons take place in six purpose-built science labs, with a dedicated Science technician on hand to support and provide state of the art equipment.
