Position Summary SAP ABAP Consultant – Assistant Manager SAP ABAP Consultant specializing in implementation, and on-going operations and maintenance of SAP applications and technology for IT Support, The Netherlands. Work you’ll do Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providingtimely solutions. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project. Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs. Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity. Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple function. Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions. Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's. Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team. Would be expected to work as part of team in charge of maintenance & support (Incident & Problem Management) and new functionality (development) of the internal SAP system for Deloitte Netherlands Should be capable of writing Technical Design and Testing documents Should be capable of working together with Functional Lead Consultant Would be expected to optimize the application/ SAP modules, provide pro-active measurements and be critical towards issues and problems. Would be expected to initiate changes linked to current/ new roll out of SAP Support Packages &Enhancement Packs together with Lead Consultant Would be expected to customize and test based on Functional Design and Technical Design documents forChanges and/ or Problems. The team The SAP team focuses on design, implementation, and on-going operations and maintenance of SAP applications and technology. Professionals will have hands-on access and exposure to the latest technologies and thought leaders. Qualifications Required : Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience. Must Have: ABAP Object-Oriented Web Dynpro ABAP Workflow HR ABA Forms (Adobe Interactive Forms/Smartforms) Modification concepts (Enhancement points/BADI/Userexits) SAP Gateway (oData Services/SOAP & REST Services) XSLT Transformations Good understanding of at least one of the Functional Area Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English Commit to deliver quality and have a thorough approach Good to Have: Business Server Pages (BSP) SAP Integration (IDOC/PI-proxy/BDOC/Webservice/Other) BW extractors Workflow ABAP HTML5/javascript (SAPUI5) Basic understanding of SAP CRM Good understanding of the Solution Manager CHARM process will be an advantage Work Location: Hyderabad How You’ll Grow At Deloitte, we’ve invested a great deal to create a rich environment in which our professionals can grow.
