Main duties of the job
To develop and establish a robust clinical role with specific areas of responsibility within a secure environment. To provide, develop and evaluate wide ranging holistic, evidence based healthcare. The post-holder will take charge of the Healthcare Centre on a daily basis and will liaise with a wide cross section of disciplines both within the prison and local healthcare economy. To support and provide clinical supervision, guidance and direction to junior members of the team/students.
