Norwich High School for Girls is looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring part-time Teacher of Drama to join our thriving department.
As a Teacher of Drama, you will plan, prepare and deliver challenging, well-organised drama lessons to students across the school, inspiring in your students a passion for drama and the performing arts. The successful candidate should be passionate and inspirational and will enjoy making a lively contribution to co-curricular activities. The post would be suitable for an ECT or a more experienced teacher.
Drama and music are integral to the life of Norwich High School and there are a huge range of productions throughout the year that cross both subjects. GCSE Drama is a popular subject at Norwich High School, and we have a number of students who decide to carry on the subject and take A Level Drama and Theatre or BTEC Performing Arts, so experience of teaching the A Level or BTEC is essential.
Candidates will also be involved in large scale productions. Within the department all year groups have the opportunity to perform during the year, be that in the bi-annual whole school musical, intermediate play, senior plays and the popular Showstopper!
