The Environmental Manager will be responsible for:
1. Leading the Environmental Sustainability function for the BTNO project, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client standards.
2. Managing a team of Environmental Advisors, Ecologists, and Archaeologists to achieve key environmental and sustainability deliverables.
3. Advising project management teams on best practices for environmental compliance and sustainability opportunities.
4. Developing and overseeing environmental documentation, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
5. Engaging with regulators and local stakeholders to address concerns and promote sustainability initiatives.
The Environmental Manager will have:
1. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in an environmental discipline.
2. In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and experience in the construction or utilities sector.
3. Proven ability to interpret technical documents and translate them into actionable strategies.
4. Strong communication skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder management and incident resolution.
5. Experience in programme management, commercial awareness, and a valid driving licence.
