Summary
NG Bailey Facilities Services have an exciting new opportunity for a Shift Engineer (Electrical bias), to provide a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a retail environment for Broadway Shopping Centre and with the utmost regard for customer service.
This is a shift position working 7 days in 14 days including 1 weekend. Working hours are 07:00 - 19:00 Monday to Saturday, 09:00 - 18:00 on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Shift Pattern is 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on (Repeat).
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
* Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
* Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreements to meet KPI's.
* Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work.
* Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations.
* Capable of working without assistance and managing Reactive Works & Small Projects carried out by others.
* Required to undertake Overtime where works cannot be performed during Non-working hours.
What we’re looking for:
An experienced Electrical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.
You will hold current qualifications to work as an Electrical engineer including:
* Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship - preferable.
* City & Guilds Electrical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
* 17th or 18th Edition.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety within the workplace.
