Our client, a fast-growing technology company dedicated to unlocking the full potential of batteries with intelligent software for all vehicle and battery manufacturers worldwide is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will build relationships with key decision-makers in automotive and energy sectors, and strategically position our cutting-edge battery management solutions.
The Business Development Manager will:
* Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other key stakeholders in the automotive and electrification industries.
* Promote the company's portfolio, BMS software platforms, and 12V battery systems to potential customers.
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the automotive, energy storage, and industrial markets.
* Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding customer needs and providing solutions that maximize their value.
* Initiate and actively engage in prospecting and lead generation efforts.
The Business Development Manager will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A technical background in batteries, electrical engineering, or automotive software is highly desirable.
* 5-10 years of proven success in sales and account management.
* Established network within leading premium OEMs (such as BMW, Mercedes, Daimler, Porsche, Audi), demonstrating experience and connections in the industry.
* Basic understanding of battery technologies, battery management systems (BMS), and cloud-based software solutions.
* Fluency in both German and English.
